BY FOOT OR CYCLE:
Deerleap Lane does not have designated footpaths so if you choose to walk or cycle please take extreme care. We offer facilities to keep cycles secure – please ask for details at our reception.
USING PUBLIC TRANSPORT:
By bus – Blue Star No 6 – a regular hourly (every other hour on Sundays and bank holidays) bus services a route between Southampton and Lymington. The nearest bus stop to the Farm is Ashdene Road/Whartons Lane. The nearest bus stop to the train station is next to the arcade of shops and Happy Cheese pub in Ashurst.
BY TRAIN:
The nearest train station, Ashurst, New Forest is situated next to the New Forest Hotel pub. The train station is a good 30 minute walk from us. Turn right onto the A35 and walk through Ashurst village, past the Co-op on your left and following the road until you get to Deerleap Lane. Longdown Activity Farm is a 3 minute walk down Deerleap Lane, on the left, just past the church.
