SPECIAL EVENTS AT LONGDOWN ACTIVITY FARM
We do not charge any extra on top of our usual admissions for our events (unless specified for certain activities on the individual event details), and any free tickets, vouchers or special offers can be redeemed as usual (unless specified on the individual event details).
Regardless of the event, our usual full day’s schedule of hands-on activities will carry on alongside.
Make a note of all our events in your diary and come along to join in the fun!

Singing and Stories with the Rose Princess
Friday 2nd August – at intervals throughout the day from 10am – 4pm
If you love books and stories, you’ll have lots to tell the Rose Princess when you meet her at the farm on Friday 2nd August. Don’t forget to ask her what her favourite flower is.
Enjoy singing, story-telling, dancing and photo opportunities.
There will be lots of magical princesses visiting through the summer holidays – collect all their autographs and a special sticker from each princess!
No additional charge to meet the Princess. Our usual schedule of animal activities will run throughout the day.
Make a Splash with the Mermaid Princess
Wednesday 7th August – at intervals throughout the day from 10am – 4pm
Be sure to give the Mermaid Princess a wave when you see her at the farm on Wednesday 7th August. There’ll be lots of enchanting tales about her exciting underwater sea adventures.
Join in with singing, dancing and photo opportunities.

UH OH, It’s…Crazy M!
Thursday 15th August – 10.30am – 3.30pm
She’s back with crazy capers, goofy gags, terrific tricks, and bags of laughter! If you enjoy lots of silliness and slapstick humour, with plenty of clowning about, roll on up to the farm on Thursday 15th August for a fun-filled day.
Three side-splitting shows to enjoy – each one has different content:
Show One: 10.30am
Show Two: 12.30pm
Show Three: 2.30pm
Plus, look out, because Crazy M will be popping up in the most unexpected places at intervals throughout the day with a mission to make you laugh!

Don’t Be Late for the Ball with the Glass Slipper Princess
Friday 16th August – at intervals throughout the day from 10am – 4pm
Oh my, the Glass Slipper Princess has lost her slipper again – can you help her find it? Hear all about her beautiful carriage made from a pumpkin and the magical ball where she met the handsome prince, but what ever you do, don’t keep her up past midnight!
Lots of opportunities for singing, dancing and photos.

Meet the Creatures and Their Teachers
Thursday 22nd August – 11am – 3pm
Furry, scaly, feathered, cold blooded, and creepy crawly – encounter a menagerie of fascinating animal types when the Creature Teachers visit the farm.
Enjoy close up experiences with creatures such as exotic snakes, bearded lizards, beautiful barn owls, cheeky rats, multi-legged millipedes, and even a hairy tarantula! These and many other different creatures will be featured at intervals throughout the session*. Learn about the creatures in an environment that is safe and respectful for the animals, with an unforgettable hands-on experience (or hands-off, if you prefer!).
*For animal welfare reasons, the variety of creatures is decided on the day of the visit and may differ to those listed here.
No extra charge for the Creature Teacher experience.

‘Let It Go’ With the Frozen Sisters
Friday 30th August – at intervals throughout the day from 10am – 4pm
It might be summer at the farm but the Ice Princess and the Ice Queen live in a Frozen world of their own. Join the sisters and ‘Let it Go’ with lots of singing, dancing and photos. Have you ever built a snowman? Well, the sisters know a song about that!
Your last chance during the summer holidays to collect the final princesses’ autographs and special princess stickers!

It’s Frightfully Fun at the Farm
Saturday 26th October to Sunday 3rd November
Enter the Haunted Barn at your peril from Saturday 26th October through to Sunday 3rd November for a howlingly good time. Encounter real-life barn owls and creeeepy creatures with The Creature Teachers on the scary day itself: Thursday 31st October!!
The Pumpkin Quest promises to be fun for all the family too – everyone will enjoy spotting the mischievous orange faces around the farm as they discover each naughty pumpkin in unexpected places (no prizes, just spookily good fun). Available for the duration of half-term.
After all the scary stuff, calm down with the friendly farm animals, and join in with a full schedule of farm activities throughout the day.
Longdown Farm Christmas Barn
Friday to Monday: 22nd November to 25th November, 29th November to 2nd December, 6th December to 9th December, then daily from 13th December to 23rd December 2024.
Enter a magical world of twinkling trees, snow, sparkling lights and festive decorations to meet Father Christmas who will be waiting to talk to the children and to give them a jolly wave and an extra special “Ho-ho-ho”!
Our standard admissions apply, and as no gift is given there is no additional charge to enter the Longdown Farm Christmas Barn or to meet Father Christmas.
