LONGDOWN ACTIVITY FARM EVENTS 2020

We do not charge any extra on top of our usual admissions for our events (unless specified for certain activities on the individual event details), and any free tickets, vouchers or special offers can be redeemed as usual (unless specified on the individual event details).

Regardless of the event, our usual full day’s schedule of hands-on activities will carry on alongside*.

MOTHER'S DAY

SUNDAY 22ND MARCH 2020

Everyone’s mum is very special. To help you and your mum to celebrate this special day, every mum has free of charge entry to Longdown Activity Farm on Mother’s Day.

Please note: discounted and free of charge child vouchers cannot be accepted from the same group if mum has free of charge entry. Thank you.

THE LONGDOWN FARM EASTER BARN

What better place to celebrate Easter than at the Farm surrounded by fluffy yellow chicks and Easter bunnies!

For a real Easter treat don’t miss the Easter Barn: a charming Spring-themed place where children can decorate and plant their own Easter Flower Pots to take home and watch their flower burst into bloom*.

Join in with the fabulous free of charge Easter trails which are suitable for the whole family. There are yummy prizes to be won.

Our usual schedule of hands-on farming activities will run throughout the day.

MOWER MADNESS

SATURDAY 6TH JUNE & SUNDAY 7TH JUNE 2020

We have teamed up with Mower Madness, a group of mower (yes, that’s mower, not motor!) racing enthusiasts who race at venues across the south coast. Fast, furious and ‘cutting edge’ fun, the Mower Madness racers will appeal to thrill-seekers and gardners alike!

If you want to spectate at this fun-filled motor mower race event, come along and support the teams who all raise lots of money for local charities at each event.

Our usual schedule of hands-on farming activities will run throughout the day.

FATHER'S DAY

NEW FOREST SHOW

TUESDAY 28TH JULY, WEDNESDAY 29TH JULY & THURSDAY 30TH JULY 2020

Some of the animals will be packing their bags and heading off to Brockenhurst for the annual New Forest Show. Come and see us in our marquee where there will be lots of different farm animals to see, touch and feed, as well as the rest of the Show to enjoy, of course!

Please note that Longdown Activity Farm will remain open on these dates, with a full schedule of hands-on activities, as normal.

IT'S FRIGHTFULLY FUN AT THE FARM

SATURDAY 24TH OCTOBER 2020 TO SUNDAY 1ST NOVEMBER 2020

There’ll be lots of spooky stuff to see and do at Longdown Activity Farm on the run up to Hallowe’en. Enter the Haunted Barn at your peril and have a go at carving your own pumpkin into a grimacing ghoul*. Any children that arrive in spooky fancy dress on Saturday 31st October (only) will be given entry at the reduced cost of £5.75 each (cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer). On Saturday 31st October (only) meet lots of creepy creatures like giant millipedes, snakes and lizards, and hold a barn owl with the brrrrrilliant Creature Teachers!

Don’t miss our fearful face-painter* Katie who can turn even the most angelic child into a monster!

LONGDOWN FARM CHRISTMAS BARN

SATURDAY 28TH NOVEMBER TO WEDNESDAY 23RD DECEMBER 2020

Once again Father Christmas will be returning on his tractor sleigh to the Longdown Barn to take up residence in the farmhouse grotto.

See twinkling lights, lots of animals, and the Nativity scene during this festive annual treat.
